Thanks for taking the time to enter our nature writing competition.
I have put together an entry form to accompany each application and make sure that we are safeguarding all children who enter, and that we can contact their parents or guardians. Entrants’ personal details, like their name, age and general location, may be used in promotions after the competition has finished (e.g. if they win a prize), but we will contact you beforehand to discuss what’s involved.
No other information will be shared. All personal details will be deleted six months after the competition has ended and you can withdraw your information/entry at any point. The deadline for entries is May 10th 2020, at midnight. All entries must be sent to natureonyourdoorstep@hotmail.com. Safe receipt will be acknowledged, so if you don’t hear back from me then please resend.
I have set this competition up independently, with the support of various other individuals (judges and promoters) and prize-givers. The prizes will vary between our three age categories (4-6 years old; 7-12 years old; 13-17 years old). All ages are inclusive. All prizes are subject to change and are awarded at the judges’ and prize-givers discretion. No cash alternative is available and no alternatives will be offered. To be considered for a prize, you must live in the UK (to save on postage costs).
We are all giving our time for free for this competition and it is being run in our spare time. The judges’ decision is final and we maintain the right to refuse feedback on individual entries.
Every prize-giver is responsible for their own prize and the terms and conditions of that prize. No responsibility can be taken by myself or any of the judges for the prizes, their safe delivery or redeeming them.
